Obviously Scotrail runs hundreds of trains a day and there can be circumstances which will lead to delays. Some of them are not Scotrail's fault. The service on the whole was good, some routes have an intensive service whereas some only have one train an hour depending on their destination. ALL the staff I met were friendly, helpful and well presented. I would say it's an excellent way to get.
